Boise Curling Club
Curling – The Coolest Sport
The Boise Curling Club (BCC), operating out of Idaho Ice World, has been in operation for five years and has established itself as a great option for the young and old alike. Curling is a sport for all ages and skill levels and can be enjoyed throughout one’s entire lifetime. With the attention brought about by the Olympics, the BCC now operates a regular season of curling with 10 mixed teams competing weekly from October to April. We hope to offer mixed, men’s, women’s and youth leagues as we continue to grow.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the Club and/or would like to learn more about the sport contact Dave Rittenhouse, at 331-2788 or check out the web site at http://www.boisecurlingclub.org/. You can sign up on-line or check activities of the organization, including season schedules, Open House dates, and direct links to the USCA. Currently, we curl every Sunday at 7:00pm from late October to April. Feel free to come out and watch and get involved. No equipment is needed to get started; the club provides stones, brooms and sliders.
The BCC is a 501 (c) 3 Non-Profit Association and is looking for partnerships from business and industry. We can offer team building opportunities, staff outings, and general curling educational events for the Treasure Valley community. Look for our Open Houses in October and January. The Open Houses or “Learn to Curl” are a wonderful option to all the other recreational activities in the Treasure Valley.
