The 2017 Idaho IceWorld Ice Show will be on Saturday, December 9 at 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. All skaters are required to perform in both shows.

This Ice Show performance is open to all Learn to Skate students enrolled in BOTH Sept./Oct. and Nov./Dec. sessions and members of the Boise Figure skating club. This event is sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating and will be governed by the U.S. Figure Skating Rule book.

Registration

All registration must be done online. Have all necessary information and costume measurements determined prior to registering.  Incomplete registrations may be denied. Please review the Ice Show Registration Instructions prior to registering.

Register for the day and class level in which the skater is enrolled for the Sept./Oct. session. Plan to stay with the same day of class through the Nov./Dec. session.  Registrations accepted Aug. 25 – Sept. 9 at Noon. 

Registration deadline is Sept. 9, 2017 at NOON.

Ice Show Registration Instructions

Cost

$50 non-refundable fee per skater*, includes costume. Accessories, such as tights, leotards and turtlenecks that might be required, are the responsibility of the skater to provide in addition to the registration fee. Coupons, discounts and scholarship awards do not apply.

*Pre-Free Skate, Free Skate 1-3, Free Skate 4-6, Adult & Teen and Adaptive Skating Ice Show Registration fee will be only $20 at the time of registration.  An additional costume fee will be required once costumes are chosen.  We strive to find the best price available and do our best to choose costumes that cost no more than $50.  Skaters will be notified once costumes are chosen and payment is being accepted.

Performance Details

The 2017 Ice Show will be held at Idaho IceWorld on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. All skaters are required to perform in both shows.

Tickets

This is a ticketed event. Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 10:00 a.m. 

  • General Admission Adults: $10.00
  • Children (12 and under): $5.00
  • VIP Seating: $20.00

Volunteers will work during one show and be able to purchase tickets for the other show. Designate which show you want to volunteer for where indicated in the Ice Show registration process. You will be notified what your job and schedule will be prior to tickets going on sale, allowing you to purchase tickets for the show you will watch.

Volunteer Requirement

Each family is required to volunteer. It is fun! Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Dressing room chaperones
  • Program distribution
  • Set-up
  • Tear-down
  • Green room assistant
  • Others

Refer to the volunteer job descriptions. Indicate your top three preferences on the Ice Show registration form. The volunteer manager will assign your shift and position based upon need and your preferences.

Other Information

Photographer

The show will be photographed by Idaho Action Photos. The photographer will take group and individual photos during the dress rehearsals and show. Purchase of photos is optional and handled through Idaho Action Photo's website. Ordering information will be included in the show program.

Videographer

Stone Pixel Solutions will produce a DVD of the show. DVDs can be pre-ordered for $25.00 at both dress rehearsals. The Boise Figure Skating Club is handling all sales and distribution of DVDs.

Flowers

In the spirit of presenting flowers to performers, the Boise Figure Skating Club will have flowers available to pick up at Idaho IceWorld the day of show. Pre-sales will take place at both dress rehearsals. Fresh single step roses with accent, beautifully wrapped are only $5.00.
