UPDATE: We will be taking the next week or so to monitor coronavirus (COVID-19) numbers in Ada County and evaluate Central District Health guidelines before announcing a definitive start date for Idaho IceWorld ice rentals. Additional programming is also on hold with the county's move back to Stage 3 of the Idaho Rebounds plan. We will continue to provide updates as we learn more.

Stage IV. - Phase 1.  Private Ice Rentals Only – July 10th -19th 

General Guidelines:

  • CDC Social Distancing protocols should be observed by coaches, skaters, parents and spectators. Patrons of different households must maintain 6 feet of distance when feasible.
  • No persons displaying symptoms of cough, flu, or fever may enter the facility. Individuals who have possibly been exposed to someone who is sick should stay at home.
  • Parents and spectators are highly encouraged to wear masks in participation area and lobby.
  • Please limit the number of parents or guardians accompany skaters to 1 when possible. Parents or guardians with accompanying nonparticipant children must keep them within arm’s reach.
  • Arrive no more than 15 minutes before your ice session and exit no more than 15 minutes after your session ends.
  • No warm-ups or dry land training in the facility.
  • Come dressed to skate. Locker rooms will not be available.
  • Player benches will be off limits to skaters.
  • Main rink bleachers will be closed to spectators. 

Other considerations:

  • No outside food or drink (water bottles are allowed). Skaters must provide their own water bottles. 1 water fountain with bottle filler will be available for use.
  • Coin operated lockers will be unavailable for use.
  • No proshop sales or services will be available at this time.
  • No food or beverage services will be available at this time.
  • Vending machines will not be available for use.
  • The arcade will not be available for play.
  • Limited seating in the Food Court.
  • Meetings with Staff are by appointment only. 

Private Ice Users:

  • Require Health and Safety Plan of Action be submitted by user group. Visit webpage for form and more information regarding private rentals.
  • All user groups must provide a roster of participants and spectators. All attendees (skaters and spectators) will be subject to a Pass/Fail temperature readings (100.3 or above = fail).  Anyone failing temperature checks is prohibited from entering the facility.
  • No more than 30 skaters per ice session including coaches.
  • Idaho IceWorld provided equipment, other than nets, will not be available for use.
  • For hockey rentals full face shields are highly recommended but not required. 

Learn to Skate/Learn to Play Classes:

  • Not available at this time. 

Youth and Adult Hockey Leagues/Tournaments:

  • Not available at this time. 

Freestyle Sessions:

  • Not available at this time. 

Stick-Time Sessions:

  • Not available at this time. 

Pick-up Sessions:

  • Not available at this time.

Public Session:

  • Learn to Skate Class size limited to 4 participants. Limit of 6 classes on the ice at one time.
  • Hockey Classes limited to 24 skaters on the ice at one time.
  • All attendees (skaters and spectators) will be subject to a Pass/Fail temperature readings (100.3 or above = fail). Anyone failing temperature checks is prohibited from entering the facility. 

Youth and Adult Hockey Leagues/Tournaments:

  • Not available at this time. 

Freestyle Sessions:

  • Sessions must be prepaid. No drop-in admissions available.
  • Sessions limited to 20 skaters per session including coaches.
  • Jump Harness will not be available for use.
  • All attendees (players and spectators) will be subject to a Pass/Fail temperature readings (100.3 or above = fail). Anyone failing temperature checks is prohibited from entering the facility. 

Stick-Time Sessions:

  • Sessions must be prepaid. No drop-in admissions available.
  • Sessions limited to 20 skaters per session.
  • All attendees (players and spectators) will be subject to a Pass/Fail temperature readings (100.3 or above = fail). Anyone failing temperature checks is prohibited from entering the facility.
